Printer Output corruption

We run an application that has multiple clients and multiple printers. During the evening the environment is extremely busy processing various reports for all these clients with printer output directed to laser printers.

What we are are seeing sometimes is corrupted print output - ie. a decimal amount may and up with a non numeric character as one of it's characters. This is not readily reproducible and only appears to occur when there is a big load on the server proccessing these reports. We have verified that the printers are defined correctly yet the problem continues to occur occassionally. If the report is run again to the same printer, the output will be fine.

Has anybody else experienced similar printer report output corruption or have any suggestions on what we can do to identify why this happens ?
