Remap-commandFile Problem

Hi Staff Jade Support

Somebody can give me more explaination dan example of Remap-commandFile.

I already read and try from Jade Dokument ( Jade- Using Schema Load Utility page 18-22) but I can not make right Remap-commandFile.

What is the error you are getting. And if it says check a log file what does that log say?

Here is an example of a command file i made:

JadeCommandFile
JadeVersionNumber 6.2.15

Commands

AbortOnError True

Remap Class TestSchema::MyClass NewMap

MoveInstances


And i ran it using:

C:\Jade\Local62Dev\bin>jadloadb path=C:\jade\local62dev\system commandFile=C:\ja
de\local62dev\remap.jcf loadStyle=currentSchemaVersion


The remap command will not work on 6.0. Works on 6.2 but not sure about 6.1 bcos I never use that version. I mainly use 6.0 but sometimes 6.2.

Actually, I am sting facing a same problem.
There is a same errormsg 8515 .


would you like to send/attach your Extract schema from your example above ?

On it's own 8515 is no use. Send the jommsg<lastnum>.log

jommsg1.log says:

2008/10/13 09:15:52.482 001e0-0f1c Loader: Processing command file line 6: Create DBFile TestSchema::NewMap
2008/10/13 09:15:52.482 001e0-0f1c Loader: Command Error: Unknown entity for create

I think its case sensitive so change DBFile to DbFile and it should work.

Add the argument to jadloadb:
loadStyle=currentSchemaVersion

So in full you should have something like:
jadloadb path=c:\jade62\system commandFile=c:\jcf\TestSchema.jcf loadStyle=currentSchemaVersion
