FYI

We've had thin clients losing connections to the the app server. It turned out to be the firewall closing inactive sessions after a set time. So you may need to code some timed wakeup in your applications to avoid this.

However the Jade app server also touches base with all clients it thinks may be inactive every 10 minutes. It would be nice if this little known feature had a developer configurable time.
