Hello,
Just a shot in the dark...
Any of the Windows gurus out there know of a way of controlling a Windows app that has been started using Node::createExternalProcess e.g. notepad? Probably the only thing we'd want to do is to close the application down when the user did something in the JADE app. (A user wants an app. for viewing RTF documents. We don't want to use OLE to Word. WordViewer (a freebie from MS) has all the functionality we want but doesn't seem to be available as an ActiveX control. However, after starting WordViewer we have no way of controlling it so the user can rapidly end up with zillions of copies of it running. Pretty messy. I think we'll end up looking for a ActiveX that has the features we want (print document, document map etc.) so back to trawling the Information SuperHighway).
Probably a silly idea anyway.
