Runtime deployment

I have been looking at what is covered in the JADE Developer courses and I have seen a module called runtime deployment.
Hmmmm..... Interesting I thought.

As far as I know, you can't deploy anything in JADE apart from extracting it and giving it to someone else.
If there is a way to deploy a full JADE application and send it to your best friend...

That could be really useful, because I remember my first program. The electronic pokedex. I don't think anyone wanted it because it contained no information in it, and the $500 price tag of the JADE runtime thing.

So what you're after is royalty-free distribution -- like what you can do with other environments like FoxPro etc?

Would be useful for getting JADE out there in much bigger numbers --- but then on the downside is the loss of revenue for JADE --- deploying JADE applications always costs at present.

However, licencing structures are being reviewed currently so you never know what might happen in this regard later this year.

Yes that is exactly what I am looking for.
