In Report Writer Designer, if you add fields with "auto build header" setting OFF, then turn it on, then delete a field, the corresponding header is not deleted, and you may have problems saving your report. The workaround is simply, if you use this setting, get into the habit of switching it on as soon as you begin designing your report, i.e. before you add any fields.
