I found an interesting Jade Bug that you might be interested in. If you had a TextBox and a Table on a form and the TextBox had focus, when you clicked in the table the rowColumnChg gets triggered before the lostFocus on the TextBox. So if you have validation in the lostFocus method on the TextBox which the rowColumnChg relied on this may cause unwanted problems. See Parsys 66308 for more info.
It was mention that the current behaviour is unlikely to be changed.
