I reported this some years ago, but here goes to the forum:

The HTML Docs updateValues method is run very often twice, and sometimes 3 times, when using IE (8, now, but 7 and 6 before that). This has the effect of slowing down page availablity, and the starting of some javascript execution.
I note that as far as I can see, this never happens with Firefox or Chrome.
Anybody else noticed this? Chendra????

I have not been able to reproduce this issue using a simple case. The method only gets called once. If you have a case that reproduces for you, You should pass this information to Jade support for further investigation.
