Auto complete for methods

Postby sit » Mon Sep 29, 2014 7:08 pm

I am a student so please forgive me for asking such simple questions. I am trying to create a flight centre database for an assignment. I am at home on my personal laptop and I have downloaded jade onto it but my methods wont compile. What do I do to enable auto complete when coding methods ? I worked with it on at tech and it was o much easier?
Also when I use any of the F keys on my laptop ex f8, f9 they carry out the short cut option for the laptop like turning up volume and fast forward.
So i've been trying to compile by clicking on the method drop down menu and pushing compile with my mouse but it doesn't say " compiled with ne errors " it just says ready ??

On your laptop, look for a key labelled "fn" (or similar) and press it at the same time you press the function keys. The function keys are dual-purpose and the "fn" key acts similar to how the shift key works for selecting 123456789 or !@#$%^&*(.
