Accessing an Access Database from jade for novices

Is there a simple doccument that describes accessing an Access Database from jade that will give me pointers to how this is accomplished. I believe I have the Access Database setup as an external database correctly, but I can't find any doccumentation about how one goes about reading and writing records to the External Database.

If someone can please point me in the right direction or send me a link to an article on this I'd be most appreciative.
