Hi
I've downloaded "Download JADE for Windows 32 bit (Unicode) (110mb)".I select jade Client setup type for installation. in the client parameters window where I have to specify Connection parameters (database path, database host name & port number) I don't know what values i have to write. I enter some value but after
choosing jade client from start menu I get the erorr "-104: Failed to establish network connection". How should I set this parameters?
the other thing I have problem with is the free developer license. I found nowhere to enter the Licence Key. in a pdf file i read that there is a program named JadReg that accepts the Licence Key. but there is nothing in the jade folder named JadReg. Where should i enter the Licence Key?
thanks

The
Download JADE for Windows 32 bit (Unicode) installer only allows you to do client installations on 32 bit OSes. This would be used to install the required files for a presentation client on a desktop machine in situations where you already have a Jade Database Server running on another machine, and therefore know the path, database, etc details.
To install the full Jade Database for Jade 7.0, rather than just a client installation to connect to an existing Server installation, you need one of the Full installation InstallShields:
Full JADE 7.0 for Windows 64 bit (ANSI):
http://www.jade.co.nz/downloads/jade/la ... 64Ansi.exe
Full JADE 7.0 for Windows 64 bit (Unicode):
http://www.jade.co.nz/downloads/jade/la ... nicode.exe
These full install shields will give you the option to choose to do a full Development installation, including a step in the InstallShield Wizard where you will need to provide your Licence Key details.
Note: If you only have access to a 32 bit machine, you can't run the 7.0 versions of Jade and you will have to opt for one of the Jade 6.3 releases instead:
Full JADE 6.3 for Windows 32 bit (ANSI):
http://www.jade.co.nz/downloads/jade/la ... 32Ansi.exe
Full JADE 6.3 for Windows 32 bit (Unicode):
http://www.jade.co.nz/downloads/jade/la ... nicode.exe
