Dark JADE IDE Colour Theme.

Postby Dr Danyo » Fri Sep 17, 2010 12:54 am

Hi folks,

Here is my current Dark JADE colour theme.
It still needs a little work, but I was wondering if anyone else uses a custom colour theme (or skin), or does everyone just stick with the default?

(ps Don't forget to back up your current settings before applying). :)

My colour scheme is the same as the default except for

Color-22=12937777
Color-23=16777215

I prefer the high contrast (old style) highlight.

Hi Ghosttie,

I take you meaning regrading high contrast selection, but not adventurous enough for me. :)

I'm waiting for someone to respond with an eye watering 1990's techno theme.

regards,
Dr Danyo.

Hey guys

Is there a way to export and import the colour scheme settings somehow?

I used to use dark colour scheme in Jade 6.2 but when looking in the method history comparison browser it was just a big sheet of white and I could seem to find a background colour setting for this so went back to plain old default settings.

Now that we are in Jade 6.3 maybe this has been changed and I can go back to dark colours again :D

Cheers
Andy

On the Miscellaneous tab there's an Export Preferences button

Hey Dr D... I see you still like things to be as unreadable as you did back in the days of running your midget vision 1600x1200 on a 17" CRT screen. ;)

Personally, I use mostly the Jade defaults with the exception of changing the colour of User Types in the editor to a light blue instead of the standard green, so that User Types are coloured differently to RootSchema types and therefore stand out more in the editor window.

Ha, I prefer to think I was just ahead of the curve. :)

Good point about seperating user types from root schema types.
