1008 - DotNetImportWizard

Postby rangerdunadan » Sat Jun 19, 2010 7:12 am

Hello,

I'm running Jade 6.3.06 and I'm trying to import a .net control. I go to the Browse -> External Component Libraries -> then click on Components -> .NET and then Import.

Immediately after clicking on Import I receive error code 1008 - Entry point not in library. Caused By DotNetImportWizard Source @ position: 3864 (not found). The receiver OID: 31620.2 (transient). Ext Method: DotNetImportWizard::loadGACList

Has anybody ran into the same problem. At this point I can't do anything with .NET controls and I would really like to.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Ranger.

Hi Ranger,

Can you tell me please, what .Net control you're trying to import?

Also, could you email a copy of your environment's jade.log file to jadesupport@jadeworld.com? This will tell us the stack at the time of the exception.

Thank you,

Thank you for replying. I have attached a copy of the jade.log file and I'll also email a copy to jadesupport.

I don't get to the point of importing in the control. The exception occurs before any modal appears that would allow me to choose a .net assembly.

The .net control I want to import is Microsoft's chart control found here:

Thanks again for replying.

Ranger.
