have I wasted my time (and money)

I've just completed my NDBC majoring in programming, including advanced JADE, VB.Net, Relational Databasing (SQL Server and Access) and Web development, and I got the top project award for my final project.

What I would like to know, is this actually worth anything?

I've applied for a number of jobs, and cant even get and interview. In fact I applied for a JADE job and was rejected within the day, saying they had more qualified applicants. I have since seen the same job advertised on at least two seperate occasions after the initial posting.

I also have an issue regarding "Junior" positions requiring a minimum of one years+ experience. Could someone offer suggestions on how I can get said experience, as I can't seem to get a job to get experience.

Hi Phil,

I might know of an opportunity for you, but no guarantees. Send me a private email via this post attaching your CV and we can take it from there.

Cheers,
Dean.
