Flat Buttons in Jade

The JadeMask has a number of images that you load:

JadeMask::picture - use this for the non-roll-over image. JadeMask::pictureRollOver - this one should have the rectangle JadeMask::pictureDisabled - self explanatory

There are a number of other images that you can choose whether or not you need. Just read the documentation on what they do and be sure to look at the ones that are inherited from Picture class as well.

If you want a sample schema I guess I could whip one up another time but you should be able to get this working fairly quickly.

Ok..... I had nothing much better to do for 5 minutes, so here's a sample schema showing 3 JadeMask controls on a toolbar with roll over both colourising the control and putting up the "rectangle".

I've also replicated these controls a 2nd time to show how they behave when disabled.

Did you attach the schema?

Yes I did attach it and the Web Browser interface for these Newsgroups is showing the Icon to indicate it has an attachment but when I click the hyperlink to download it I get the an error page in my browser:

"You are not authorized to view this page"

It looks like the attachment has not made it through properly for some reason. I'll try attaching it again to this message and see what happens.

Also, I've just realised that I didn't scrape the "button down" images when I was generating this example so you won't see a down image when you click the JadeMask buttons..... but you should still get the general idea.

PS: It would be nice to have a standard signature tag like other newsgroups have and perhaps the option for an Avitar etc....

That didn't work either. It looks like the URL when you attach a file via the Browser interface into these Newsgroups is not working - and also not making the attachment visible to someone using a Newsreader direct.

I've looked at messages that do correctly show the attachments, and it looks like the naming convention used for the attachment files are:

http://www.jadeworld.com/downloads/bb/nnnn_1.zip

where nnnn is the number listed prior to the : on each entry. It's possible that using one of the following might work as my two messages that supposedly have attachments are message numbers 3118 and 3120 respectively.

http://www.jadeworld.com/downloads/bb/3118_1.zip http://www.jadeworld.com/downloads/bb/3120_1.zip

Nope...... I just tested that and it looks like the files I attached never even made it into that directory.
