Tables and cellControl

Postby ConvertFromOldNGs » Fri Aug 07, 2009 1:15 pm

Afternoon,

I'm having a bit of a problem with tables and cellControl. What I have is a table with 3 columns that have an input type of textbox (our version) and I have this going fine, but the problem I'm having is when validating the textbox and there is an error. I can't get it to setfocus on the cell and bring the textbox back up so that I can edit the erroneous data.

I really do hate ctrl enter.

Has anyone done this before or is anyone able to point me in the right direction.

Cheers

Michael

What exactly are you referring to here?

Do you mean a way to press enter and have it start a new line of text in the current table cell or do you mean something else?

While not necessarily the most elegant solution, attached is a sample schema that shows one way of achieving the desired result.

Cheers,
BeeJay.

Cheers BeeJay

Close enough to what we were trying to achieve.
