Mover Dialogue pleeze ???

Hi
I have an urgent need for a "mover dialogue" i.e. a form similar in operation to the partial extract class selection dialogue within JADE (and used elsewhere within the product).

You have two listboxes with arrow buttons to select the currently selected item in the list on the left and move it to the right hand side box and a double-headed arrow to move all items from the left box to the right.

Then you have two buttons to move items in the opposite direction.

All bulk standard software development ware -- right?

Can anyone email me an scm/ddb on a reasonably generic example of such a beastie ??

Thanx in grateful anticipation...

Alan,

Try the attached method for the ListBox control class.

Hi
I have solved this and now have a natty Mover dialogue for use in selecting one or more objects from a listbox on the left to a 'selected' list on the right.

This involves making use of sub-classed pushbuttons and listboxes with many methods off each.

Took some doing to make it work across a number of independent schemas but got it done now.

As this is such a useful utility I will write an article about it for an upcoming JADE World
