Problem with schema exposure to Java

Postby Krav » Wed Apr 25, 2018 11:51 am

Hi,

I'm doing academic project which is based on JADE object database, but I need to "communicate" with database via external Java application. So, at first I've downloaded JADE 2016 Full from website, and subscribed for development type license. Everything was good until the time I finished preparing schemas and was ready to create Java classes. I found option that is called Exposure Schema in Jade Schema Browser. But when using this functionality, there are only C# and Web Services tabs. I have done something wrong that I cannot see Java Exposure tab? Or it needs more configuration?

You may think I only read documentation once, but that's not true. I've got Java SE Development Kit installed and added PATH to Windows global variables.

Any help would be much appreciated :)

Please excuse me for my English,
Cheers from Poland
Krav.

Hi Krav,

The latest version of Jade doesn't support Java exposures, as this was de-implemented when Jade 7.1 was released.

For your academic project, you could use the last Jade 7.0 version, which would still support Java exposures.

Cheers from New Zealand :)
