ZLIB Compression & Jade

Hi,

A co-worker & I have got zlib working in Jade for compression/uncompression of files & buffers (see the attached file). You need to get the zlib.dll from: http://www.gzip.org/zlib/ you should be able to find a precompiled Win32 version there. The compression format is the same as that used in gzip in Linux systems.

We have used zlib to compress the data going between Jade & our Windows CE PDA software (using a WinCE version of zlib).

Hope this is useful,

Glen
