Has anybody developed a GUI JADE app. that sits in the Windows System Tray instead of on the Taskbar?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Had a look at it, but never actually got the time to implement it....
It used an ActiveX so that when the window was minimised it removed it from the task bar and put it into the system tray, and displayed whatever icon you had setup on the window.

Now you are going to ask me where I found it.... and sorry it was at a previous job and a long time ago, no idea.

If you have a look further down this News Group, you'll find a thread that was started on the 28/01/2000 titled "System Tray Icon" that may provide what you're looking for. One of the respondents to this thread supplied a sample schema demonstrating the use of the System Tray area of the Windows Task Bar.
