Hi,
When a Jade web server is not running anyone trying to browse the site gets the "Service Unavailable" message, does anyone know how to customise this to something a little more helpful, so first time visitors don't think your site is broken and never come back - "the server is temporarily closed for maintenance..." (or something similar that isn't so severe).
IIS lets you customise error messages but the Service Unavailable message isn't one of the ones in the list that is customisable.
Is there a way - how are other people handling this?

Thanks

Stephen,

If you place an HTML file (i.e. a static page) that has the same name as the JADE HTTP library in the same directory, then the HTTP library will return that page to the browser if it can't connect to a JADE database.

For example:

d:\jade\public\jadehttp.dll
d:\jade\public\jadehttp.htm

darrell.
