comboboxes using itemPicture query ..

Hi
I've just investigated using the itemPicture property for comboboxes and sure enough I can get pretty little pictures now appearing to the left of the text of each item in the combobox. But these pictures are only visible when I type the down arrow and display the list of items.
I want to know for the 'selected' item how you get that to show the appropriate picture together with the text ?
