Adding blank space

Jade noob here.

I just started to use it to build a web page but I can't seem to understand how to add blank lines of code, for example inside a paragraph tag.

I don't want to touch margins of individual classes as they are set to work on the whole website and I just need more blank rows in specific places.

Can anybody help me?
