My question is can we allocate memory to external functions??
Imageman is the imaging software that jade uses (imgman32.dll). Ive tried unsuccessfully to use its functions, has anyone succedded and how??
I got the manual from their site and found a very useful function .. namely imgCopy, which copies a graphic file and rescales it to a size you may want, ie 500k jpeg to a 9k jpeg.
Connected to the external functions ok, but kept getting imageman errors ie not enough memory to complete this task.
The imgCopy function is not meant to need much as it reads & writes at the same time.
Am I missing something basic in jade Im meant to be doing
or is something that the imageman company team need to advise on??
