Errors and the Debugger

How about changing the Jade debugger to step back when it encounters an error, say 1090, so that the developer can change the null reference and carry on debugging.

Yes, that is really annoying. While the debugger is up, you can't edit anything at all! I think that is a great idea.

That's not what I meant, Ray.
I was wanting to change the value of an attribute or reference while within the debugger if the debugger encountered an invalid reference. This would allow the debugger to encounter an error, step back, display the error message and wait for user input.

Yes, that is a good idea too. It could be very useful. But still I think they should have both features.
