Immediate Reorg

When you make a change that will require a reorg, Jade currently lets you know it will need one and asks you whether you still want to do it. How about that dialog says something like:

"Your change requires a reorg, initiate it now?" Yes/No/Cancel

Since the effects of needing a reorg are so wide reaching it should be way more visible than this.

I think there should be a message in the tool bar or status bar that announces "Reorg Required". This could also act as a control for invoking it.

It would provide obvious and immediate feedback as to whether its "safe" to run an app. Handy if a someone is updating the data model and you're trying to test the application.

I agree - it's very frustrating having to switch to the Schema browser window in order to perform a reorg.

Jade 5.1 has a reorg toolbar button, so you won't have to switch to the Schema Browser to do a reorg. The button image and bubble help also change to indicate when a reorg is (and isn't) required.
