This post is to welcome you to the JADE 6.2 Beta Program.
The Beta Program is about giving customers early exposure to the new features coming along in JADE 6.2 and we are pleased to extend this invitation to you. Your participation will provide valuable feedback to the JADE R&D Team.
For an overview of the JADE 6.2 new features, please refer to the JADE Roadmap:

In particular:
* The Java Class Library and .Net Assembly integration, for greater interoperability
* Compact JADE, to take advantage of Windows Mobile devices
* Faster SOAP message handling, for improved Web Service performance
* RPS enhancements, including the ability to map derived values to table columns
* New system analysis and diagnostic tools, to lift the hood on your applications like never before!
JADE 6.2 is scheduled for general release at the end of September 2007.

The JADE 6.2 Beta Program will begin in early May 2007. To join, please click the link below to email the JADE Customer Support Centre:

Please specify whether you would like to download the release and/or receive a CD.
---- ONCE YOU HAVE JOINED
Once you have joined, we will:
* Send you a download link and CD (if requested) when the beta release is available.
* Send you a full set of release notes that will provide details about the new JADE 6.2 features.
* Send you JADE 6.2 versions of the JADE Care Start (CardSchema) external libraries (karma.dll, etc) if requested. If you do not make use of CardSchema or currently do not have the JADE Care Start external libraries, you will not need the JADE 6.2 versions of these files.
* Provide Level 2 Technical Support free-of-charge for the duration of the Beta Program. All contacts will be entered into Parsys and will be managed by the JADE Support Team.
* Provide hot fixes and patch releases if required as per our published Release Policy. However, while we have every intention of all beta releases being fully upgradeable, as this is a Beta Program we cannot guarantee backward compatibility with previous releases.
Your existing JADE 6 licenses will work with JADE 6.2 beta releases.
---- JADE CARE START (CARDSCHEMA)
If requested, we will send you new versions of the JADE Care Start external libraries for use with your JADE 6.2 systems.
---- JADE CARE CUSTOMERS
For systems managed by the JADE Care24 Managed Service or for customers using the JADE Care Tool Set, upgrades and application deployments to JADE 6.2 beta releases will initially need to be performed manually using the standard JADE installation/upgrade and deployment mechanisms.
---- QUESTIONNAIRE
Every two weeks, JADE Support will send you a short questionnaire spreadsheet. It will provide us with valuable feedback to track Beta Program activity. When replying with your completed questionnaire, any other comments you wish to make about the work you're doing with the beta release will be much appreciated.
