JadeRichText autoURLdetect

I have a JadeRichText that displays web text (source text). I have the autoUrlDetect to true. I enter in a URL and voila, the source text is displayed.
The problem being that some of the URL highlighted are the web link pictures not the link itself. i.e highlighted is the picture source text, double click the link and up comes the picture.
Obviously this is not what im needing. The next link which follows in the web text is the link to the web site that should be highlighted, BUT ITS NOT.
Anybody know why this occurs and more importantly, how can i fix it so that the link to the web site is 'enabled'.
I presumed that autoURLDetect to true would show ALL URL links.
