I recently noticed the following piece of method signature in the erewhon investments demo schema and im wanting to know what the "number = 1001" represents...anybody with the answer?

getAllSales(saleSet: SaleSet input) abstract, number = 1001;

Internally as part of the meta schema, JADE assigns a unique number to each method (unique per class, not globally unique). This number is used by the JADE platform for method identification, method invocation, etc. When developing in JADE, it's not something you really ever need to worry about.
