Save me some experimenting - what needs to be installed on a client PC in order to access a Jade DB (on a remote server) using ODBC? Can I use Custom install (6.0) and just select ODBC or do I need more stuff and, if so, what?

ODBC connects as a fat client, so you will need a full set of binaries on the machine you intend to connect from using the Jade ODBC driver.

To be safe, I'd probably go for the following options on a custom install to ensure things such as the 'C' runtime libraries etc are installed:

Debug Symbol Files Ansi
Shared System Files
ODBC Support Files
Binary Files Ansi

Hope that helps,
Pat.
