Reading emails into Jade application

Two- fold message

1. We are trying to read emails into Jade using the MSMAPI32.OCX - has anyone had experience in this - is it the best route to go?

2. When trying to add the MAPIMessages or MAPISession control on a form we get a 14026 (You are not licensed for this product) - is there a system install option that has been missed?

1. I have heard of people using PostieX quite happily to send/receive e-mails. Not sure about whether you'll be able to use msmapi32.ocx though - see below.

2. It sounds like you only have a runtime licence for this ocx and cannot therefore use it in a development tool. Perhaps you need to contact the vendor for this ocx to purchase a design time licence - assuming they offer it for sale/use in other applications?
