Hi all,
We are about to target Linux as a server operating system for our JADE applications, but to do this we need to port our upgrading system to Linux. Currently the upgrading system is developed in Visual C++ using traces of MFC.
Jade (the company) only officially endorse using Visual 6++ on Windows and gcc-3.2.2 on Linux.
Is anyone aware of a good cross platform GUI toolkit that can be build using either of these two compilers to generate a Linux or Windows executable with only single source code?
I am aware of and are investigating these solutions: Qt (by Trolltech), WxWindows and fltk.
Does anyone have any experience with developing a cross-platform application using a GUI toolkit that delivers native widgets on both Windows and Linux?
has anyone developed Windows apps using the JOMAPI in anything other than Visual C++ (Borland, perhaps?).
Thanks,
Allistar.
