Secure FTP

Jade Care has long provided basic FTP support in Cardschema, but one of our clients is required to send files more securely. Is there any support for SFTP out there, or anything planned?

The obvious solution is to import an SFTP ActiveX control, and pay the licence fees :) but I'm wondering if anyone else has done this already.

ActiveX is the last choice in my opinion. A dot net control would be better but I don't know if Jade supports mono.

I have once tried libcurl with libssh2 and that worked with jade perfectly. libcurl is mit license (similar to bsd) and libssh2 is bsd license so no license fees for either. Sorry but I don't have any
sample code and am not going to create any.

"Secure FTP" may mean SFTP or FTPS. Your choice may be limited by existing clent and server platforms, and whether you are communicating with an existing secure ftp service, or implementing a new one. http://www.rebex.net/secure-ftp.net/ summarises differences. http://technet.microsoft.com has information on FTPS support on Windows 2008 Server.
I note that Rebex also supplies .NET libs for both protocols.
