Hi :
In multi language , for example chinese adn uighur.
My system will run in Windows XP of uighur,
I need dispaly chinese in menu, how to implement ?
Is possible to specify the menu font properties ?
In a same text box, we need display both chinese words and uighur words. how to implement ?
Appreciate for any help.

A. If you set the menu caption to the appropriate Chinese characters, then they should simply display as expected. In our system we do this using translatable strings so that the menu caption is set to the appropriate locale's version of the given translatable string.

A. We do this in our application by way of setting the JadeSkinForm::menuFont*** properties for the skin(s) available for use in our application. If you're not using a Jade Skin in your application, then I believe you get the font defined for Menus at the Windows level.

I can't comment on the specifics of Uighur characters, as that is not a locale we have used in our application, but with our application the users simply type in both the English and the Chinese characters they want and they quite happily co-exist without us needing to do anything specifically to handle this.
Given your statement about using Uighur on WinXP, but from Pat's post this does not have full locale support until Vista and above, it could be the case that the Uighur is implemented in a similar way to Myanmar. For Myanmar a "special" font, WinResearcher, is used to get the appropriate glyphs to display based on certain combinations of English characters. If the same "special" font technique is used for the current WinXP implementation of Uighur, then you will run into issues trying to display both Uighur and Chinese, or any other characters, within the same TextBox.
