How to Upgrade Jade6.1(RHEL3) to Jade6.2(RHEL5)

Hi:
I have an issue about jade upgrading.

We run Jade6.1 on RHEL3, and will upgrade jade to jade6.2.
As per Jade6.2 document, jade6.2 must run on RHEL5.

How to upgrade jade system ?

upgrade the linux OS from RHEL3 to RHEL5 first ? how to upgrade ?
Then upgrade the jade ?

We had to do the same thing, but from SLES9 to SLES10. The process went like this:

- upgrade OS version first.

- then upgrade Jade. We upgrade Jade manually (i.e. we don't use the Jade provided scripts to do this). We follow the instructions in the upgrade notes for the new version of Jade.

This worked pretty seamlessly for us.
