RPS Question

Afternoon,

When we update an attribute that is mapped to an RPS database, a new row is added to a historical table even if the new value of the attribute is the same as the old value of the attribute. Is there anything we can do to stop this from happening (e.g. ini file settings etc)?

Michael

Hi Michael,

Currently there is no way to prevent this from happening, other than changing your application to avoid updating the object(s). However, we agree that in many cases, changing your application to do this is not simple and may also not be very efficient. You've raised a good suggestion and we've opened NFS 45626 for implementation in a future release.

Dean.
