SQL Server Linked Server and LEFT/RIGHT Join

Postby dansousa » Fri Jan 22, 2016 2:00 pm

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if LEFT/RIGHT JOINS works when using a linked server in SQL Server?
I have Jade 6.3.12 running at the moment.
If I use old syntax for inner join, it does work but if the word JOIN or LEFT for example is used, it complains.... "unexpected token JOIN"

Any ideas?

Thanks

Some of the members of this form who are more likely to respond to queries may have been on holiday at the time, as per myself. Out of interest for others searching these forums later, did you want to share what you discovered about the format of the outer join, perhaps sharing what you had initially, that was rejected, and what you ended up using that was accepted?

Cheers,
BeeJay.
