Hi all,
One of our customers are moving their Jade environment to some new kit and I'm wanting to cluster the 50 AppServers rather than attach the IPs to the NIC. This gives us a lot more control when failing the cluster from one node to another or in a DR situation.
My question is, if I create the ["virtual clustered AppServer name".JadeInterpreter] and the AppServer in the environment.ini, assign an IP in the cluster and name it the same as the one in the environment.ini. Do I need to use a .jpf or can I get away with not having 50 of them? If I do need the .jpf files, how can I create them quickly?
Sorry if the above sounds noddy but I'm not that au fait with the inner workings of Jade and I'm not sure about it.
Thanks in advance,
Lee
