Delete External Library

Postby pdhaigh » Thu Dec 13, 2012 11:37 am

Hi All,
I wish to delete an External Library via command file or something similar (no access to the many deployed environments via IDE).
I thought that this may be possible via .jcf file, but cannot find a command to do this. I did try by using the "Delete Class" command but unsurprisingly this was not successful.

Has anyone out there been there done this before successfully?

Thanks

When I've needed to do this in the past I did so by loading a full schema extract sans the Library definition. The schema load process then deletes the Library definition in the deployed system(s).

If you have a support licence, you may want to put an NFS request into Parsys requesting a JCF command for deleting Libraries to go hand-in-hand with the existing JCF command for deleting External Functions.

Cheers,
BeeJay.
