I am currently recruiting for 4 Jade Developemers to be based out of my client site in Manchester U.K working for an industry leading Global IT Solutions provider.
The Jade Developer will be primarily responsible for producing and enhancing the company’s software products, which will involve the following:
1. The design of solutions resulting in the production of Design Documents and Technical Specifications
2. Development of software based upon specifications
3. Unit testing to ensure the minimum of defects
The primary focus of the role will be to enhance our client’s existing Jade developed applications; and this will help to progress the transition of these applications into the company’s strategic application platform. You will be expected to gain (or have already), .Net technology skills and knowledge in order to assist the transition of the Jade products to the .Net platform by the development of replacement modules.
Essential Skills
• Jade Platform Technologies
• Ability to design new solutions and enhancements to existing systems
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and debug code
• Minimum of 5 years recent experience of developing information systems, preferably commercial systems
Desirable Skills
• Visual Basic.Net or C#
• ASP/ASP.Net
• XML, XSL & XML Schema
• MS SQL Server Programming.
• Web Services
