Directory monitoring dll

Hi

Am I imagining it, or did I see a .dll downloadable from Jade website that moniters for, and notifies Jade system of, changes to file folders (e.g. new files created in a specified directory)? We have an old c1999 version (named jadeDirMon.dll on our system) that we've needed to re-link a few times, and I'd quite like to get my hands on a newer version if one exists. Preferably with C source code. Had a look last night but can't see it there, though I may not have been looking in the right place. Would appreciate if anyone can help.

Many thanks
Dave Mellow

I also remember seeing this on the website. Can't find it now either. It worked on Windows only.

Cheers, Brendan

You could possibly use Windows API calls instead of a 3rd party dll. Refer to "FindFirstChangeNotificationA" , "FindNextChangeNotification", "FindCloseChangeNotification" in kernel32.dll.

Cheers,
Baz.
