Using the Method Class - Documentation

Hi there,

I'm trying to locate the position of the 'Method' and 'Funtion' class information in the Help Files. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

The reason I am trying to do this as I have a Form which I would like to be able to use to call a method on the Form which loaded it.

I hope to create a reference of type Method and set it to the value of the method which it is to call.

Thanks,

Mark

The methods you probably want to have a look at are:

Object::sendMsg
Object::sendMsgWithParams

These are documented in the EncycloSys.pdf manual (around page 665).

If you're wanting to dynamically create and execute transient methods at runtime, have a look at these methods:

Process::createTransientMethod
Process::deleteTransientMethod
Process::executeTransientMethod
Process::executreTransientIOMethod

All starting about page 739 in the above PDF.

Dean.
