Can Load user data if the class structure is changed?

Hi,
I need the old user data saved in old system, so I used Jade Dump And Load Utility to dump all data from old system. But my new system has some changes about the classes, such as delete some attributes of class and add some new classes. Can i still load the user data dumped into new system? What will it impact?

Thanks,
Scott

Scott

It has been a while since I have done a dump and load but I think that deleting or adding properties may prevent the data from being loaded.

I have used it to change the hierarchy of classes but they have had the same attributes and properties. Note the following from the help

"Perform any reorganization of your database that is required. (As the schema for the system being dumped must be identical to that of the system being reloaded, an error is raised if a reorganization is outstanding.)"
