Error 1099 on creation of object

I have a strange System Exception:

1099 Key path component does not have an inverse to its prior component: refer to jommsg.log

What does this mean? It occurs when i try to create an instance of a class called Transaction

We find it handy to use the schema validation to see if have any
keypaths that don't have inverses, especially before releasing a large modification to our product.
