How long has JADE been around for?

Work started on the first version of the object manager (which forms the kernel of JADE) and database in late 1990, and towards the end of 1992 the team was expanded to further develop the layers around the object manager (eg: language, compiler, interpreter, development environment, painter, etc). The name JADE appeared around 1994 and was launched in NZ in 1996.
