I'm thinking about starting to use JSS Internet Schema, but am concerned about any possible performance hit on using a peer schema as opposed to code just in a parernt schema.

Does anyone know of any performance issue when translating through peer schemas?

And how have people found the use of JSS Internet schema. I'm a little anoyed the code is hidden, I would have liked to add some things to the Ussage statistics but may have to build my own, esspecialy since it is running as a peer schema.

If you're using JADE 6 (or will soon be moving to JADE 6), have you considered using the native HTML and/or Web Service frameworks provided by the RootSchema? JADE 6 allows externally created HTML pages to be imported and populated/manipulated (similar to the functionality provided by the JSS Internet Schema).

I've moved into the Jade 6 Web services, however I'm having alot of trouble working out how to use the WSDL and test harness components of the system. Basically I have got it up an running but when i hit the service directly, none of the links are correct on the html doc that is produced that lists the available methods.

It apears that both the Jade 6 documentation and the webservices.pdf document arent up to date with the latest 6.0.19 features available. So I'm having a little trouble working out what to set.

apart from that the web services are working but I want to get the WSDL side of things working correctly.

On the Application Definition, the Web Services settings on the Web Options tab, set the following:

a) Machine Name: this is the name of the "home page" which points to IIS.

b) Virtual Directory: this is the name of the virtual directory where you have the jadehttp.dll library. Do not use the full path name, just the name of the virtual directory.

c) Support Library: jadehttp.dll.

d) Select your Web Service class(es), and you should only need to check the "Version Control" option.

You can then generate you WSDL file to import into the consumer schema.
