One of our customers is keen to use this with Jade. Has anyone used the two together?

Hi,

The information I had suggested that the MS message queue was only available in Windows 2000, and in a very limited form in IE5. For this reason, I don't think many people are considering using it in the short term. If I'm mistaken about MSMQ's availablity, please let me know.

I'm currently implementing a message queue system in Jade itself, which should provide much of the functionality the MS queue does (e.g. guaranteed deliver-once), with some added benefits, for instance, the ability to run on non-MS OSs, and ability to use multiple delivery methods (currently only TCP/IP and file drop) in situations where legacy network setups or other factors make network communications between apps difficult.

Not sure if this is of any help, but thought it was worth letting you know.

Mike.
