Jade and Windows Server 2008 Foundation

Postby torrie » Wed Mar 30, 2011 8:12 am

We've just been asked if JADE will run on Windows Server 2008 - Foundation. Unfortantely I can't install Foundation as a VM (it's not licenced for that) and don't have a spare box to test it on. Is anyone running JADE on the Foundation server and if so is there anything to be aware of?

Thanks

Torrie

Hi Torrie,

JADE is qualified against Windows Server 2008 (Including R2). And while we haven't specifically qualified the Foundation build, it is supported by association.

Unfortunately I'm not aware of anyone who is using the Foundation build so I can't cite any references, but we don't anticipate you would have any problems outside of the published Microsoft limitations.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I had expected.
