Re: Google Maps API Error

Out of interest, did you manage to find a way to get started with changing your code over to using WebView2 instead of Microsoft.Internet.Controls? Cheers, BeeJay. I too am interested in this topic regards Microsoft "retiring" IE in June 2022. We use the Microsoft Internet Control WebBrowser contro...

Re: Using Microsoft Internet Control - WebBrowser Control

Just adding a comment from a private message between myself and Beejay, just so that everything is the one place here: Question I posed: Further to your below comment on the Jade forum, the registry change that you refer to, is that on the Jade Server (or App Server), or every thin client PC – Hopef...

Re: Using Microsoft Internet Control - WebBrowser Control

Thx for the info BeeJay & Advaro - it works fine in IE11 browser direct, just errors within the web browser, on the Jade form, so looks like you guys had the same problem as me - I'll try the registry change as suggested, hopefully it works, cheers, Mike

I support a Jade Application that uses the (imported) WebBrowser control on a Jade form (imported from Microsoft Internet Controls quite some time ago, maybe 15 years ago). The Jade form displays the web pages of the MedChart application and has worked fine over the past 15 years. Our client has ins...

Re: using a REST API from JADE

Hi Allistar, and thanks for your response. In an attempt to get this working, I found a free REST based WS to consume. It is: "http://services.groupkt.com/country/get/iso2code/IN" and when entered in the browser, shows the following (for code IN, being India): { "RestResponse" : { "messages" : [ "Co...

Re: using a REST API from JADE

I have a similar requirement - accessing/consuming a REST based Web Service from my JADE application. I've been given an endpoint: . "/Patients/{PatientId}/Episodes/{EpisodeId}/SimpleMedications/Discharge" with the request details being Method URI GET http://servicebase/Patients/{PatientId}/Episodes...

Barcode 128 - Checksum generation

Hi - anyone got a code snippet for calculating the checksum for Barcode 128, Set A ? I've inherited some code and the character returned in some instances does not render a barcode that can be scanned. Issue lies in the barcode checksum we are generating - partuclarly around the "calc" value (the re...
