Re: Another RPS question

Gaaargh, problem solved. Nothing to do with any Jade functionality, it was at our SQL end.

Cheers

Another RPS question

I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this problem... Via RPS Manager, I'm doing a File -> Consistency Check. After 20 seconds I get a popup error "Consistency failed to complete. Error = -1". (I've done this multiple times and it si always 20 seconds). If I then look at the enabled/disabled state...

Re: RPS problem loading data

Cheers BeeJay, that's a sound idea. It has also occurred to me, could that error sometimes refer to the oid of a reference attribute, not the class itself.

When I get back to that task I'll give your suggestion a go.

RPS problem loading data

Hi all Encountering a problem on setting a Jade 7.1.04 system, RPS node (I've done this successfully a few times with 7.0.x systems, but not the same system as this one). I've created the tables, but on the Load Data action I'm encountering an exception part way through the .tbl creation (i.e. maybe...

Thin client upgrade 6.3 to 7

Hi Am I correct that, for a 64 bit client machine that has been running v6.3 32-bit thin client executables, upgrading to the 64-bit binaries must be manually performed? I.e., specifying the FullJadeInstallDirectory parameter of the [x64-msoft-win64-ansi] ini section will NOT accomplish this? Cheers...

Re: Static methods - please!

Interesting point allistar. Just to muddy the waters even more, maybe off topic, and I guess one could go on and on about features that we'd like but... Regarding something I tried quite a while back, and on an older Jade version, so correct me if I'm talking nonsense... I don't think it's possible ...

Re: Static methods - please!

Definitely a vote here for static methods, and I miss both method overloading and parameterised constructors also.

Interesting reading the variety of opinions regarding each, but for me the lack of method overloading is perhaps what frustrates the most.

Cheers.

dll monitoring directory changes

Hi guys For several years we've been using a dll (C++ source) that monitors directory changes such as files being created within specified paths (sending a notification to jade upon detecting such a change). It used to be available somewhere on this site, which makes me suspect that other developers...
